Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish, half-English woman was born April 16, 1997 in Miami Florida. Her mother is English, one-half Spanish. The parents of her were Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. The father of her is Argentine with Scottish-English heritage. Her mother is Spanish and English descent. Taylor-Joy was born into a household of six children. Four of her siblings are from the previous marriage to Taylor's dad. The family lived within Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria part of London. Taylor Joy said the move from Buenos Aires, to Victoria was a struggle and she didn't take the time to learn English in hopes of going back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she moved from Northlands. After that, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she studied dance and performed in productions. When she was 16 she dropped out of school in order to make a career of acting. Taylor-Joy's desire to be an acting star began in the early years of her life. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first one who hired her to be an experienced model.
