Lori Greiner, born as Lori Husman, is an American businesswoman, and well-known TV presenter, acting as a Shark or investor at the ABC business reality show, Shark Tank since 2009. Her interest in creating handmade jewelry when she was in college. She continued to design and sell them until she had the concept of creating a plastic Earring organizer. She then showed it to the women in public to gauge their reactions. Then, she registered her product, and then began selling it through various channels both online and offline. She added more merchandise. So far, she has created and marketed more than 1,000 successful products. Additionally, she holds more than 120 US as well as International patents. Her sharp sense of smell, and a keen sense of business and can instantly tell if a particular product will become a hit or a failure. It is the reason she has an 85% success rate within her industry. A strong believer of "if you are lucky enough to be successful then you are bound to give back" She also gives an annual donation to a range of charitable organizations.
