
Jennifer Grey (born March 26 in 1960) is an American actress from the United States. Her first acting role was in Reckless (1984), but she got her first big break in Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986). After appearing in Dirty Dancing (1987), a romantic comedy about love Frances Houseman earned her worldwide recognition. Red Dawn (1984), The Cotton Club (1889), Bloodhounds of Broadway (1989), Redbelt (2008) and Redbelt (2000) were her other feature films. Grey's television work started with Murder in Mississippi (1990), Criminal Justice (1989), and If the Shoe Fits (2019). She also starred in the role of Kelly Carter in the comedy Red Oaks on Amazon Prime Video. Grey has also performed voice-overs in film and on television, including the film of the year Duck Duck Goose and the animated television series Phineas and Ferb in 2008.
